Two Rohingyas were apprehended by BGB in Bangladesh
Two Rohingyas, who recently fled from Shwe Zar village, Maungdaw Township into Bangladesh have been apprehended by Border Guard of Bangladesh - BGB in Teknaf area .
The two apprehended Rohingya people are identified as Mohammad Noor and Hafizur Rahman and residents of Ah Nauk Rwa hamlet in Shwe Zar village in Maungdaw Township .
A source said that Mohammad Noor and Hafizur Rahman fled into Bangladesh along their families last one month ago due to the ongoing genocide on Rohingya communities by Arakan Army AA and they sought refuge in Islami Baad in Teknaf area in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh.
“They had fled into Bangladesh along with their families in last month and they sought refuge in Islami Baad in Teknaf area and they were living there in rented house and they were staying in that rented house with their families ”.
The source recounted that Border Guard of Bangladesh - BGB along with some residents of Teknaf went at the rent house of Mohammad Noor and Hafizur Rahman and apprehended both of them including their family members on 16th of September at the evening.
“ BGB came along with some inhabitants of Teknaf and apprehended Mohammad Noor and Hafizur Rahman and their families, too . All their belongings like golds and money were confiscated, too ”.
A family member said that “there were about 300 tickles of golds which were confiscated by Border Guard of Bangladesh - BGB and then they were sent to prison in Cox's Bazar ”,.
The family member also said that “ Mohammad Noor and Hafizur Rahman's family members were also apprehended and they were inspected and then their belongings like money and golds were confiscated, then the family members were pushbacked to Maungdaw Township ”.
A family member from Refugee camp in Cox's Bazar said that “ there is no information of the family members of Mohammad Noor and Hafizur Rahman after they had been pushbacked by Border Guard of Bangladesh - BGB . Even it is unknown whether they are alive or deaths ”.
Border Guards of Bangladesh - BGB is sending back the Rohingyas who are fleeing into Bangladesh though the interim government officially stated in an interview that we will not pushback Rohingyas and pushing them back means sending them in deaths.
