Rakhine state Maungdaw City Today, May 28, the iron fence at the Immigration Department was lifted. In the morning, soldiers under the military council came and took away as much as they wanted.
Maungdaw City Today, May 28, the iron fence of the immigration office in the western part of the city was removed. At around 7:00 am, more than 50 military forces, including militiamen under pressure from the military council, arrived and took as many as they wanted and took them to the car.
"The army arrived around 7:00 in the morning. Along with them were the Rohingyas who were forced to join the army. When they came to the office in Lawa, they protected them. They cut 4 or 5 pieces of iron fence and put them in a car," said a local.
After the military council surrendered Buthidaung town, reinforcements are continuously being made in Maungdaw town.
