"Unfair Resettlement"

The word “resettlement” has become one of the few remaining hopes for many #Rohingya refugees who dream of rebuilding their lives in peace and dignity. As the safe return to our homeland remains uncertain due to the unstable and risky situation in Arakan State, resettlement represents a chance for a better and more secure future.

However, the current resettlement process often fails to reflect the fairness and transparency it promises. Many Rohingya refugees experience bias, bureaucracy, and a lack of clear communication from the organizers, UN agencies, and implementing partners. Cases of nepotism and favoritism have further discouraged and disappointed countless families who had placed their trust in this opportunity.

Resettlement should be based on genuine humanitarian values, fairness, accountability, and inclusion, not connections or favoritism. Every Rohingya refugee deserves equal access to information and opportunity, regardless of background or social 

The UN agencies, international donors, and resettlement countries to ensure that the process is transparent, just, and free from corruption, so that resettlement truly becomes a path of hope, not despair, for the Rohingya people.
