The short biography of Rohingya scholar late Moulana Sheikh Allama

His name and lineage:
- Muhammad Hanif s/o Wali Ahmed s/o Turab Ali s/o Nurud din,
Date and place of birth:
He was born in the village of Firing Daung , northwest of Rathiding Township , in 1952 AD, 1371 AH, 1164 Rohingya.
His scientific life:
- He grew up in the village of Firin Daung and began his studies in his birthplace
- Then he joined the Qasim Al-Ulum Friending School and completed the primary stage there.
- Then he went to the Rahmaniyah School, Saki Bazaar, Akyab under the guidance of his teacher, Sheikh Din Muhammad (the martyr), may God have mercy on him, and studied there for one year, during which he benefited from his sheikh, Sheikh Maulana Abdul Haq, may God have mercy on him, knowledge ang skill of Arabic grammar and Morphology.
- Then he moved to Darul Uloom Miyajanpur School, Maungdaw, and studied there for many years.
- Then he went to Moin al-Islam Hatahzari Chatgam University and studied there for two years.
- Then he went to Zamiriyah Qasim Al-Ulum Youth University and studied there for two years and completed the course of the Noble Hadith in 1977 AD.
- Then he traveled to Pakistan in 1979 AD and joined the Dar Al-Iftaa Institute in the city of Nazimabad, Karachi, where he learned the Ifta curriculum to the fullest degree and graduated with a Mufti certificate in 1981 AD.....
Recently, God has also enabled him to memorize the entire Holy Qur’an by heart and intonation.
His great services:
He began scientific, religious, political, and social services during his student days in Arkan, Burma, which is the invention, creativity, and codification of Rohingya Script , and he had continued with teaching of Holy Quran and Noble Hadis on an ideology that how be made our community educated by won language until the end of his blessed life.
* He taught and taught at Darul Uloom School, Mijanpur, North Maungdaw Arkan, in 1978 AD, and at Darul Sunnah Hnila University, Bangladesh, in 1979 AD, after graduating from school and before his trip to Pakistan.
*He taught and taught at the Khaliliya School in Musa Kaloni Karachi, Pakistan in 1980 AD.
*He founded the Dar al-Tarbiyah Islamic School in Safrang village, Teknaf, Bangladesh in 1985 AD.
* He established the Islamic Postgraduate Studies and Research Complex in Safrang Village, Teknaf, Bangladesh in 2002.
- He continued to teach noble hadiths as a sheikh of hadith at Dar Al-Sunna Hnila University, Cox’s bazar, Bangladesh until the end of his life.
- He served in issuing fatwas, advocacy, and guidance, while teaching at Dar Al-Sunna University until the end of his life.
Classification and composition:
He has dozens of books in Arabic, Persian and Urdu, the most important of which are:
1- Qulliyat Ragheb
2- Izhare Haqiqat
3- The call of truth.
4- Jihad Arkan.
5- The problem of Arkan and its solution, and others.
His qualities and talents:
He is a very virtuous man, a humble soul, a holder of useful opinions, wise ideas, and eloquent expression. He is intelligent at heart, has a strong memory, and is knowledgeable of the secrets of the Arabic language and its vocabulary. He has extensive knowledge of the sciences of logic, philosophy, jurisprudence, and Arabic literature. He is also a skilled poet who used to sing intuitively in Arabic, Persian, Urdu, and Rohingya.

That Sheikh Mufti Muhammad Hanif Ragheb, may God have mercy on him, spent his blessed life and his valuable life in the service of religion, science, homeland, and the Rohingya people inside and outside Arakan.
His death and burial:
After the end of a life full of knowledge, work, faith, and advocacy, Sheikh Muhammad Hanif Ragheb passed to the mercy of God Almighty on Friday, the 10 November 2023 AD, 26 Rabi’ al-Thani 1445 AH, 27 Khati mash 1235 Rohingya at the same university in Hnila, and prayers were prayed over him after the afternoon prayer on Friday in the university courtyard.
Thousands of Muslims arrived from all over Bangladesh and refugee camps, and his body was buried in the cemetery of his village, Safrang, Nowa Farah, Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.
