The Grand Mosque of Maungdaw has been reopened by Burmese Genocidal Military BGM

The grand mosque of Maungdaw Township, Arakan State, Myanmar has been reopened by Burmese Genocidal Military BGM since the afternoon of Tuesday on 14th May 2024 . 


“The grand mosque was locked by Burmese Genocidal Military BGM on the last 6th June 2012 during the conflict between Rakhine Communities and Rohingya Communities and it wasn't permitted to reopen the grand mosque by Burmese Genocidal Military BGM though the Rohingya Muslims frequently asked to reopen ”. 


“The grand mosque of Maungdaw Township has been reopened by Burmese Genocidal Military BGM after 12 years of locked the mosque and the Rohingya Muslims can now worship there , ” said  a resident of Maungdaw.
